Decameron: All's Well [III/9]
WATCH: The cast of NBC’s All’s Well That Ends Well Salutes our front-line workers.
Though production on Season Two was shut down, the cast and crew of NBC’s hit comedy All’s Well That Ends Well has been doing their part
First, three stars of our stars -- Richard DeVry (Lavatch), Steve Bracken (Bertram) and Sylvia Alge (Helena) -- banded together with other members of the NBC family to sing “Fight Song” to encourage our workers on the front line. Devry, a three-time Obie award winner with three decades of experience on Broadway, joined Sylvia, who appeared in her high school’s play, to contribute.
Given that we have furloughed our camera crew, it was filmed on vertical iPhones, and badly.
And who could forget cinema icon Brock Tuberville, who plays Lafew on All’s Well, who last week cheered America up by preparing a Negroni and filming it. Now, nevermind that he absolutely screwed up the Negroni, or that it came out terrible, or that the following week when he made a Margarita on Fallon he also screwed up that recipe by adding Blue Curacao instead of simple syrup, and especially nevermind the fact that every bartender in America can not only make a better cocktail in their sleep and is also getting paid $0 for the fifth consecutive week but still it’s this knob that’s getting all the retweets for cocking up a simple highball.
We’re pleased to announce that Brock, who has never tended bar in his life, will launch a Quibi show about bartending this coming June.
And young Jessica Martell (Diana) is not only hot off her TikTok fame, but also sent out a powerful video message to kids out there who are struggling during this difficult time: Depression is normal, and she can relate to you and it.
All’s Well That Ends Well salutes our heroes, and also encourages our heroes to tune in at 8/7c on Wednesday nights.
